For the victims of Covid-19　2021 --- Pray for the world ---
In Japan, , the Buddha statues were made when there was an epidemic.  So I created 48 Buddha statues for the cities of the world I've visited. The number 48 is the forty-eight wishes of vows Amitabha Buddha.

行ったことのある都市から48箇所を選び、そこにふさわしい仏像を建立して疫病コロナの犠牲者と貢献されている人々のために祈りました

48という数字は四十八願、阿弥陀仏が仏になる条件として立てた誓願の数です。すべてが叶えられたとき、そこに浄土が生まれることを願って。
